I was wondering if anyone is conducting any research or baseline study on research capacity in African universities, or other developing countries?

Maynooth group

A group to connect scholars / practitioners in Maynooth

I can't say this is a 'mission statement', as such, but my initial sense of things is that there is scope to use this site as a way to connect scholars / practitioners working in Maynooth. 

In the short-term, perhaps we could use this site to discuss the possibiity of coordinating on-campus actions (e.g. seminars, workshops, visiting speakers, films, etc.).

In the medium- to long-term, I suggest such a group could cement existing ties and create new ones with a view to actually coordinating such actions.
