Panel discussion on the Rohingya crisis
Venue: Room G7, Irish School of Ecumenics in Trinity College Dublin (see map).
Almost 700,000 people have been forced to flee their homes in Rakhine State in Myanmar since last August and cross into neighbouring Bangladesh. Those arriving report appalling human rights abuses, with entire villages destroyed. They now face difficult conditions, and the threat of forced return to Myanmar.
