Benefits of membership

The Development Studies Association, Ireland is a membership-based and membership-driven organisation including individual and institutional members. Being a member of DSA Ireland helps you stay informed on latest updates from accross the development studies community in Ireland. It also provides opportunities to actively connect with others in the community across reasearch, policy and practice.  

  • Study Group membership - we currently have eight active study groups, which you can join.
  • Networking opportunities to connect with a community of like-minded people working in development, through our annual conference, summer school and workshop events. The Development Studies Association Ireland is linked into the  European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) the leading European network in the field of development research and training. A member of the Steering Committee of DSAI sits on the Executive Committee of EADI, and so DSAI connects into the Europe-wide network of institutes, researchers and students of various disciplines in the field of development studies.

  • Promote your own news, publications or research through the network.
