DSAI Summer School

The DSAI Summer School provides a focussed 2-day programme of workshops exploring research methods for development, engaging NGOs, Policy Makers, and Academics both as contributors to the programme and as participants. The Research Methods Summer School is usually hosted in a regional location. It was hosted by the Centre for Global Development, University College Cork in 2019 and by the Climate & Development Study Group in partnership with NUI Maynooth in 2021.

The Research Methods Summer School 2022 was hosted by the Technological University Shannon (TUS). A two-day programme on 'Researching Sustainable Development: Tools for Developing a Critical Perspective' was run 31st May online followed by an in-person day at the TUS Thurles Campus, easily accessible by car and train.
