When: 30th August 2022, 10am to 3pm.

Where: Trinity City Hotel, Dublin

Rural to urban migration is a global phenomenon but is particularly associated with countries in the global South, such as Vietnam. This workshop presents the results of a three-year collaboration between UCC (Ireland) and USSH (Hanoi, Vietnam), supported by Irish Aid and the Irish Research Council under the ‘Coalesce’ programme.  The purposed of the workshop is to share findings and stimulate dialogue that will shape conclusions that can be of use to policy makers and other stakeholders. It will be of interest to those concerned with issues of migration, social inclusion, industrialisation and urbanisation, particularly in the global South, and to governmental and non-governmental organisations working in the field of international development.

To reserve your place at this workshop, or for further information, please send your details to the organiser, Dr Edward Lahiff at e.lahiff@ucc.ie, quoting ‘Policy Workshop’. There is no fee for this event.
