The Humanitarian Action Study Group of the Development Studies Association of Ireland held a seminar on the humanitarian crisis in South Sudan.

The seminar discussed the current humanitarian situation in South Sudan; reflect ed on the successes, challenges and lessons learned on delivering humanitarian responses in a context of protracted conflict; as well as debated key issues such as the role of humanitarian agencies in ensuring the protection of civilians.
