The Humanitarian Action Study Group of the Development Studies Association of Ireland is pleased to announce a seminar on Disaster Response in Asia, to be held on Monday, 13th October, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Comhlamh, 12 Parliament Street, Dublin 2.
Topics and speakers will include:
- Disaster Risk Reduction, with a case study from Bangladesh - Aaron Clark Ginsberg, Centre for Humanitarian Action, University College Dublin
- Disaster Response to River Water Conflicts, with a case study from India - Sulagna Maitra, Centre for Humanitarian Action, University College Dublin
- State and Non-State Response to Phailin Cyclone in Odisha, India - Nita Mishra, University College Cork
