Applications are invited for the post of Research Coordinator of International Summer School on Gender Based Violence (ISS-GBV) within the UCD Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA) http://www.ucd.ie/cha/.
The ISS-GBV will bring together key international stakeholders to transform contemporary approaches to respond, prevent and mitigate GBV in societies under stress. The ISS-GBV will equip interested humanitarian actors with the conceptual knowledge, skills and capacities to respond effectively to the ever-present threat of GBV.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from the Irish Consortium on Gender Based Violence and other stakeholders, national and international, to establish a state of the art Summer School. He/ she will champion the design and roll-out of GBV education and training to the highest academic standards.
