RTE on Climate Action: Dublin Fridays for Future Events

RTE have stepped up to the Climate Action mark and have returned George Lee to his role as Environment and Science correspondent. They have also developed a very informative section on Climate Change on their website. Check here for all you need to know about COP26:

COP26 (the UN Convention of Parties on Climate Change) will convene in Glasgow from 31st October to 12th November (see the RTE links above for background and up-to-date information).

The COP26 Coalition, based in Glasgow and with global international support, has issued a call for a day of mass demonstrations across the world on 6 November. Here they explain why this is an important time:

The COP coalition Ireland and Fridays for Future are organising two events here in Dublin:

  • 22nd October: Fridays for Future rallyJoin us there to remind all in the government that this is an EMERGENCY!  1pm, Merrion Square by the Dáil
  • 6th November: COP26 Coalition Ireland March: 12 noonGarden of Remembrance, Parnell Square. DCV will be there so look out for our placards.
