DSA Ireland Postgraduate Workshop 2015

-

DSAIreland Logo

Now in its fifth year, DSA Ireland will hold its annual postgraduate research workshop on 18 November 2015, which will be followed by the DSA Ireland Annual Conference on 19-20 November.

Aim

The workshop provides an energetic environment in which postgraduate students (Masters and PhD) can develop, present, and refine their research; improve their skills for communicating confidently in networking settings; develop contacts with other researchers; and engage in lively discussion with peer and experienced researchers and practitioners.
The format of the workshop comprises two small group sessions facilitated by experienced researchers from different institutions. In addition there will be a plenary session with an invited speaker who will talk about enhancing research impact and creating relevant research for practitioners.

The workshop is held in conjunction with the DSA Ireland Annual Conference that will be held in the same location on the following two days (19-20 November). In conjunction with the workshop, the conference provides additional learning and networking opportunities. For postgraduates whose work is at a more advanced stage, there will be a €300 prize for Best Student Paper, so please consider submitting. The call for abstracts closes on 16th October. More information about the conference can be found here.
