Ireland has a longstanding commitment to international development, and research is the key to our effectiveness in reducing poverty and vulnerability worldwide.
Since its inception just five years ago, the Development Studies Association of Ireland is helping create a vibrant development studies community, and is now providing an effective platform to enable researchers, policy-makers and practitioners across Ireland to share knowledge and resources.
How widely known is the value of the Development Studies Association of Ireland in the sector? Perhaps not as much as it deserves. Our sustainability campaign aims to address that. We are approaching our constituents - students, researchers, NGOs and policy-makers - for their support, as well as pushing a membership drive.
We have realized a video and a brochure aiming to make clear the benefits of supporting and being involved in the association.
