The DSAI website is a space for gathering and sharing knowledge and expertise. In addition to outputs from our core activities and useful resources from the development sector, we co-ordinate and publish Opinion Pieces inviting responses to Challenge focused Open Calls.
We publish Opinion Pieces submitted to us in response to our Challenge-focused Open Call. Authors are invited to provide short opinion pieces as responses or propositions. Submissions can be between 500-1000 words in length.
Submitted pieces are subject to review and are considered and accepted on a rolling basis. DSAI Challenge Opinion Pieces aim to provide a platform for an open knowledge exchange. We invite contributions from individuals all disciplines, those working in research, education, development practice or policy. Authors of past Opinion Pieces responding to the call have successfully gone on to evolve Opinion Pieces into new collaborations and book publications.
Submissions should be sent as a word doc attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org with 'Opinion Piece' in the subject line. Please include name, affiliation and short bio (max 100 words).
DSAI Challenge Opinion Pieces aim to provide a platform for agile, responsive knowledge exchange for cross fertilization of transdisciplinary research and practice around particular issues of current relevance.
Authors of past Opinion Pieces responding to the call have successfully gone on to evolve Opinion Pieces into new collaborations taking thinking forward to more formal publishing routes.
